The Arboricultural Association presents several opportunities for climbers of all levels to compete throughout the year. They are run by a team of Arboricultural Association volunteers who want to try and help advance working practices such as climbing practice and safety. The ARB Show Open Climbing Competition (formerly know as the UK Open Climbing Competition) tests the mettle of climbers over 3 different skill categories. Novice, Expert and Premier climbers battle it out in one of the UK’s most popular climbing championships.

The UK & Ireland Tree Climbing Competition is an unmissable opportunity for climbers of all levels to learn new techniques, improve their skills and connect with like-minded arborists.
