About Richard:

I’m the principal consultant of Wilson Tree Surveys, which I established in 2016 following ten years at a supervisory / managerial position in a tree surgery business. I’m both a Chartered Arboriculturist and a Registered Consultant of the Arboricultural Association. I aim to provide an outstanding service to my clients and constantly seek to extend my knowledge through Continuing Professional Development activites. In addition I adhere to the codes of conduct of the Institute of Chartered Foresters and of the Arboricultural Association giving my clients added confidence in the standard of my service. Increasingly, my practise is focussing on the key role I can play in relation to conservation, ecology, soil retention, climate change and carbon sequestration.

The majority of my clients are in Wales, south east England, along the M4 corridor, and as far north as Manchester and Leeds although I’ll consider projects anywhere in the UK. Whether you’re an architect wanting a last-minute arboricultural method statement, a home buyer needing a report to help you buy your dream home, a large estate or asset manager needing risk assessment-based advice, or maybe another arboricultural or forestry professional needing decay detection surveys on specific trees – please, feel free to call me: I’d love to see how I can help.
