Wales Branch Annual Fungi Walk 2024
The Wales Branch is holding its fifth annual fungi walk, held at Clyne Gardens, where Teifion Davies and Steve Lucocq will be guiding you around the wonderful surroundings.
Admiral Algernon Walker-Heneage-Vivian, who owned Clyne from 1921 until his death in 1952, established the Gardens at Clyne. He sponsored plant collecting expeditions overseas, and many of Clynes rhododendrons still bear their original collector’s numbers. The Admiral’s influence can also be seen in the landscaping, which includes a Japanese Bridge, the Admirals Tower and the Gazebo.
This event cost £15 to members and non-members - To be paid directly to Teifion on the day (Any cheques must made payable to: Friends of Clyne Gardens)
