Managing Tree Protection during Development

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) is home to iconic and significant buildings . These include Category A Listed Heritage Glasshouses), and the unlisted Research Glasshouses, Horticultural Support Buildings and Education facilities. These existing facilities/assets are deemed ‘no longer fit for purpose’ and cannot be kept operational beyond the short term.

The Edinburgh Biomes project is being brought forward to address the urgent need to restore, improve and redevelop this key infrastructure in order to protect RBGE’s unique and globally important plant collection.

This workshop is confirmed for Thursday 24 February - with the morning looking to be the better part of the day, the schedule may change to fit in with the weather.
