09:30 Assemble for Coffee and Tea.

10:00 Welcome and introduction by Scotland Branch Chair

10:15 Talk by Kevin Frediani.  Beyond Woodlands and Urban Forests - Exploring the Ecology of Trees.

11:15 Tea and Coffee

11:30 Talk by Emma Gilmartin.  Fungal Communities in Beech

12:30 Ken Martin Memorial Award and Tom Hall Literary Award
12:45 Scotland Branch Annual General Meeting

13:00 Lunch

14:00 Building Botanically in Dundee: Designing a Sustainable Urban Scotland. 

A walk through Baxter Park with some commentary on the Park’s history and trees, via Stobswell SuDs garden and the Robertson Street Wee forest and  community garden

(with Ali Floyd/Colin Clement) to overlook Eden where Caishlan Sweeney will describe the main aims of Dundee’s / Scotland’s Eden Project.

A social evening is planned on the 24th at Trades House , 40 Nethergate, Dundee, DD1 4ET.
