Course Objectives:

We will delve into:

  • new woodland (creation and natural regeneration) on site.
  • the interactions with ancient woodland and what that is and means.
  • UK sourcing of tree stock and biosecurity and Integration of livestock in woodlands.
  • Particular focus on veteran trees and the new guidance document from the Trust.
  • The format will take a similar approach to the recent RFS visit, but more technically focused on some specifics and features of the site
