Course Objectives:

Following the election of a new Chair and Committee the East Anglia are proud to announce a new event. The East Anglia Branch is holding a seminar on issues affecting London plane trees, with an emphasis on Massaria, now that it is being increasingly found outside London. Greg has extensive knowledge and expertise of Massaria through his work at the Royal Parks and now at the London Borough of Islington. John, who has recently become Senior Technical Officer for the Arboricultural Association, will be well known to many through his work with the LTOA and Transport for London. He will be speaking about the threat posed from canker stain of plane.

After lunch, we will be taking a 10-minute walk to Saffron Common for an outdoor search for Massaria.

Course Content:

The event will run from 9.30 - 15.00. Place are strictly limited to 35 so book quickly to avoid disappointment.

  • A FULL charge will be applied to any booking cancelled less than 10 working days before the event.
  • A £30 administration charge may be applied to changes made to bookings that have been received and acknowledged.
