Back to Windsor for another exciting day of tree discussion with Ted Green and Reg Harris
Where else can 50 brains with 50 opinions discuss trees from 1000 years old to an organic nursery and the first forest soil reserve in the world. Windsor Great Park has witnessed countless events throughout history, dating back to pre-Saxon times - each of which has left its own distinctive mark on this impressive landscape. From William the Conqueror using the landscape as a hunting ground, to Queen Victoria entertaining on the shores of Virginia Water – our Royal connections remain strong today under the stewardship of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, the current Ranger of Windsor Great Park.
This will be an informal day, please bring your own lunch and suitable outdoor clothing and shoes, even if it is July....
