A new arboricultural training centre has opened in the Midlands.
The Environmental Training Centre on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border aims to deliver 'high quality arboricultural training by highly experienced trainers who are well respected within the industry'. Courses include tree climbing and aerial rescue, chainsaw maintenance, felling and cross-cutting, pesticides, rigging, CPD and refresher courses.
The centre has purpose-built classrooms, a fully equipped workshop, an indoor training tree and hardwood and softwood plantations on site.
Rob Keyzor, director of The Environmental Training Centre and Rob Keyzor Tree Surgeons and Arboricultural Consultants Ltd, said,
“There has been a gap in the arboricultural industry for high quality training for some time now and we aim to fill that gap by providing arboricultural courses and forestry and land-based training to the highest standard through our exceptional faci lities to further the career of arborists.”
