The Forestry Commission is happy to announce the details of their annual programme of Forestry Commission Tree Health events, designed to keep the sector and stakeholders up to date with new and emerging threats, as well as providing advice and guidance on current issues.
The North East event will take place on 23rd March at The Waterford Lodge Hotel, Morpeth.
The Yorkshire event will be on the 27th March at Askham Bryan College, York.
Both events will run from 9.30am until approximately 3.30pm and will feature speakers from the Forestry Commission’s Area and Plant Health Forestry teams as well as guest speakers from FERA and APHA.
Lunch and refreshments are included and places are limited, so please register early. There is no charge for these events.

There will be a particular focus on ash dieback and the associated Woodland tree health grant that is available, and some time made available at the end of each event for “face to face” time with your local Woodland Officer to discuss the issues that matter to you.
