Please have a look at the tree planting in the car park of your local supermarket where you do your shopping. If you think it is not great make a complaint to the manager – perhaps verbally or via social media? Or both? Better still, Tweet their head office?
Sadly, the response may be that all management and maintenance issues regarding the car park are the sole responsibility of the facilities company and nothing to do with the retailer.
I wonder how many hectares are taken up in the UK by tarmaced supermarket car parks that are treeless or nearly so.
