Lancaster University

The Arboricultural Association Conference is the premier event of its kind in the United Kingdom. Known for its leading-edge content, professional networking and welcoming atmosphere, this world-class gathering attracts industry leaders, researchers, students, and enthusiasts from around the globe.

This year, we aim to explore a diverse range of topics in arboriculture, inviting thought-provoking discussions and innovative ideas.

Proposals Closing Date: 31st March 2026

Whether you're a seasoned professional or a passionate newcomer, this is your chance to share your expertise, inspire others, and shape the future of tree care.

You are invited to propose presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and posters that dive into the science, art, and practice of arboriculture.

Any idea submitted as an abstract on themes relevant to tree care will be considered. Presentations are typically 25 minutes in length, whilst workshops or demonstrations may be up to one hour; please highlight potential variations in your proposal. Poster presentations will be displayed throughout the conference venue.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 5pm on 31st March 2026.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Arboricultural Association staff team and trustees. We will aim to inform all potential participants by mid-April.
