The moment you have all been waiting for! The #ArbAtWork21 results…
Our annual photo contest aims to get the best shots of arborists at work to help promote the industry and its professionals further afield. This year we received over 280 entries through e-mail and our social media platforms and over 350 votes were cast to decide the winner!
Once again, a fantastic range of entries demonstrated some of the amazing locations that make up an arborists’ office and the variety of technical skills required in their day-to-day work.
The winner of #ARBatWork 2021 is Gary Stoker, an Arb contractor with 31.9% of the votes for his stunning photo contracting for Greaves Tree Services with Robert Albion as the climber.
“This photo was taken whilst clearing BT lines ready for new poles and wires to go up. The train is Haverthwaite railway which runs to lake Windermere in the Lake District.”
The Tree Fellas Hull came 2nd with 22.4% of the vote with an awesome ground shot.
“This photo was taken during our most recent promotional video where we removed a large Poplar tree on a local golf course this photo was taken during the works and we instantly loved it.”
Custom Climber (Juddy) came 3rd with 13.3% of the vote with a crane dismantle.
“We removed a large Horse Chestnut because it had a large cavity at the base and was in decline. We chose to use a crane to make it easy and efficient.”
Thank you to all our finalists and to everyone who entered and voted. Entries for #ARBatWork 2022 will open in February 2022, so keep snapping photos and good luck next year.
